Residents Association

The aims of Newstead Residents Association are :-

  • To maintain a friendly and neighbourly atmosphere with ever improving community relations.
  • To constantly improve the range of services and facilities available to residents.
  • To maintain a stable population by taking an interest in the village’s development and caring for its youth.
  • To ensure our surroundings are unspoilt whilst aiming to improve the environment for the residents, visitors and local workers.
  • Establish a strong base of economic activity.
  • Establish a lively social network including arts, cultural and sporting activities.
  • Improvement of community safety and reduction in crime.

 

The Residents Association meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7.00pm at either The Newstead Centre or Turton Court.
